Tab Validation
Flowmator displays "Google Flow Not Detected" lock screen
Root Cause: The active Chrome tab does not match supported URL patterns (labs.google or flow.google), or Chrome tab permissions are pending.
Recommended Resolution Steps:
- 1Ensure you have opened https://flow.google.com or https://labs.google/flow in an active Chrome window.
- 2Click anywhere inside the Google Flow web page so it becomes the focused active tab.
- 3Click the "Recheck Tab" button inside the Flowmator side panel lock screen.
- 4If using multiple Chrome windows, ensure the side panel is docked to the window holding the Google Flow tab.

Before Submitting a Diagnostic Ticket
Running through these quick checks solves 90% of Google Flow automation hiccups:
1. Refresh Active Tab
Reload flow.google.com to clear any disconnected background WebSockets.
2. Close Chrome DevTools
If F12 inspect is open on the tab, close it so Flowmator can attach CDP.
3. Check Extension Status
Ensure the sidepanel header displays "● Flow Connected" in emerald.
